About Isaac

Isaac Palmer was born in Chicago, IL and grew up in Ohio where he finished high school.

 

Isaac received his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Oakwood University and his master's in Business Administration from Rollins College. Palmer is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served on the following boards: Big Brothers Big Sisters, University of St. Francis (Joliet, IL), Fountaindale Public Library (elected) and the Will County Community Foundation.

 

In his 17 years at Adventist Health System (now AdventHealth) he served as Chief Operating Officer at Florida Hospital Altamonte, COO of the Heartland Division, and CEO at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital in Illinois.

 

Isaac then served as CEO of CHRISTUS Health – Shreveport, a 3-hospital system serving northwest Louisiana.

 

In 2019, Isaac moved back to his hometown Chicago where he is actively involved in healthcare initiatives as President of the MATCCH Foundation (Minority Access to Comprehensive and Coordinated Healthcare), Chair of the NAACP Southside Health Committee, and Member of the Illinois Kidney Care Alliance.
